O! what a year was it. Worldwide fights for freedom and equality, during a global epidemic. Social-economical changes during quarantine, stress, and doubt, and social distance. Many losses, health concerns, communicating throughout self-care, and trying to keep it all together. I believe the bright side of 2020 was all about solidarity. People walked the streets in the name of equality and people talked the talk and stood for each other. We have no idea when urban activities will be back to normal. Maybe it is time to re-define normal, and yet again, there might be vaccination soon enough (fingers crossed). And all in awe for science and technology.
For me, it was a somewhat confusing year, I found love and then learned it is toxic so I broke it off. I mourned the death of a dearest friend, a soul-mate. I dedicated that time of grieving to sinking deep into DIY renovation of my flat and into my online business. I broke walls, I redesigned the space, and moved around the furniture. I also rediscovered old love and made beautiful friendships online during the quarantine. befriended with my neighbors. I wined & dined & masturbated and spent an awful lot of time getting inner peace. I gained back motivation and re-organized my affairs. I have loved and lost, like in any other time in my life, but 2020, was somewhat collectively intensive.
To sum this very hectic year, with a little more than a month to put this calendar year behind. I hereby express great gratitude for all the quality time I had spent alone with my self-pleasure. I believe my mental health kept intact thanks to it. I learned a lot this year. I felt sad, estranged, isolated, fooled, but then again, on the other hand, I felt loved and cared for, appreciated, and in connection with my peers and people all around the world.
